IN THE VICTORIAN AGE, CAMPBELTOWN WAS KNOWN AS THE WHISKY CAPITAL OF THE
WORLD - AND ONE OF THE FIVE DISTINCT MALT PRODUCING REGIONS OF SCOTLAND.
ONLY THREE DISTILLERIES HAVE MAINTAINED PRODUCTION FROM THOSE HEADY
DAYS OF THE 1830’S. ONE OF THE FINEST IS GLEN SCOTIA.
Double Cask and 15 Year Old are designed to reflect the originality of Campbeltown whisky styles, whilst the Victoriana expression is reminiscent of the Campbeltown style and is true to the Glen Scotia Distillery style.

John Peterson who has been in the industry for over 40 years, is the mastermind
behind the careful development and improvement in the whisky coming from the distillery.
It is with John’s guidance and expertise that the three new malts of Glen Scotia have been developed. John will continue to develop further new expressions of Glen Scotia that
will stay true to their roots of the early days of Campbeltown Scotch whisky.
Glen Scotia is one of the smallest Scotch whisky distilleries in Scotland.
We are very proud of the fact that it still maintains much of its original design, including
the fermenters, the stillroom and the dunnage warehouse dating from the 1830s.
