Glen Scotia is one of the smallest single malt Scotch whisky distilleries in Scotland but one of the big names in Campbeltown's illustrious past — with a story beginning in the 19th century. Our distillery still maintains much of its original design, including the fermenters, stillroom, and dunnage warehouse dating from the 1830s.
A sip of a Glen Scotia Scottish malt is a window through time to traditional Campbeltown whisky.

Campbeltown may be the smallest whisky region, but it’s certainly the whiskiest. For there was a time when whisky virtually coursed through the streets of the town… with a distillery on every corner, nigh on every inhabitant involved in its creation and boats queuing in the port to carry off casks of Campbeltown single malt scotches so whisky lovers everywhere could enjoy a truly authentic Scottish dram.
That’s why we say Glen Scotia is whisky from the whiskiest place in the world.
Known as the whisky capital of the world, Campbeltown was once a place that teemed with distilleries. Over time, all that experience, craft and passion has been poured into our single malt whiskies. Double Cask and 15 Year Old reflect the originality of Campbeltown scotch styles, whilst our Victoriana expression is reminiscent of the Campbeltown style and is true to the Glen Scotia Distillery style.
