IN THE VICTORIAN AGE, CAMPBELTOWN WAS KNOWN AS THE WHISKY CAPITAL OF THE
WORLD - AND ONE OF THE FIVE DISTINCT MALT PRODUCING REGIONS OF SCOTLAND.
ONLY THREE DISTILLERIES HAVE MAINTAINED PRODUCTION FROM THOSE HEADY
DAYS OF THE 1830’S. ONE OF THE FINEST IS GLEN SCOTIA.

Double Cask and 15 Year Old are designed to reflect the originality of Campbeltown whisky styles, whilst the Victoriana expression is reminiscent of the Campbeltown style and is true to the Glen Scotia Distillery style.

Master Distiller

MASTER BLENDER

Growing up next to two distilleries, Michael developed a passion for distilling and brewing at an early age which is why he went on to study this at Heriot-Watt University. After graduating, Michael worked in brewing for ten years until joining Loch Lomond Distillery in 2007 where he has been at the helm as Master Blender since 2014.

OUR DISTILLERY

Glen Scotia is one of the smallest Scotch whisky distilleries in Scotland.
We are very proud of the fact that it still maintains much of its original design, including
the fermenters, the stillroom and the dunnage warehouse dating from the 1830s.
