2020 was the first time since the inception of the Campbeltown Malts Festival in 2009 that the events itself did not take place.
This whisky was bottled to commemorate the inaugural Glen Scotia Virtual Malts Festival, a celebration of Glen Scotia & Campbeltown hosted entirely online. A 12 year old single cask whisky matured in first fill bourbon and finished in oloroso sherry. Bottled at cask strength of 53.9% with no chill-filtration or added colour.
Tasting Notes: Rich amber in colour with delicate peat nose. Sweet and oily with walnut and raisins, which develops into complex layers of spice and dark ripe fruits with a salt hue on the finish.
