The Travel Retail Masters results of 2020 have been announced and we are delighted to have been awarded a Master medal for our Glen Scotia Vintage 1991.
Run by the Spirits Business Magazine, the Travel Retail Master awards set out to find the best spirits within the travel retail market. Various spirits are blind-tasted by a panel of industry experts and judged over a number of categories, from appearance and palate to overall balance. Silver, gold and master’s medals are then awarded to high scoring dram. Master award winners are then entered into the final round to be judged for the overall title of Travel Retail Taste Master 2020
Our Vintage 1991 represents a magnificent example of Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Matured exclusively in bourbon casks at 46.7% and no added colouring.
Tasting Notes: Maritime sea spray, creamy oak vanilla and sweet toffee on the nose, with a rich velvety mouthfeel and a long finish with notes of brown sugar and gentle spice
